Employee Retention Credit (ERC) is a program where the government is refunding payroll tax that employers have already paid into the system from Q2 2020 - Q3 2021. The qualification criteria has changed 6 times over 22 months so most CPA's are not familiar with the latest updates. They are general practitioners.
